Colds are going around

Field trip "Living Book Report". Tommy was sooo nervous when talking about Eli Whitney.
How big are you? Sooooo big!
... and we all caught it. Timothy has been sick for more than a week, then started Tommy on his 9 birthday, and finally I am the victim. But it could be worse.
We have not gotten our written orders, but we know that our report date will be Oct. 10, 2010. Which means we will be moving around September. So much to do before.... Another garage sale... We accumulated way too much stuff! It is always hard to decide what to get read of.
Like always I am grateful for God's love for us and His grace.

Finally!

Here are the news we all have been waiting for: We have been reassigned to Fort Carson in Colorado. Of course I had to call Sina and my mom. Needless to say that they are excited. And even my kids are happy, which makes me glad. I called a friend I met in Germany in our "old" church, Jenny. They are also in Ft. Carson with the Army. It was great talking to her, and it is wonderful to know that we already have a friend there. It makes it so much easier leaving our great church, wonderful friends and our beautiful home behind.
We will try to go up there on a 4 day weekend to check everything out. Need to think about renting or buying a house. We will let God direct us, always the best way! He is so good. Whoever does not know Him, misses out on Happiness, Peace, Joy, Strength... and so much more.
OK, Colorado, here we come.

Global Warming? Are you kidding me?

Our backyard, covered in snow!
Little man walking!
Leeanna is having fun!

What is all the talk about Global Warming? What about Missouri that normally sees some ice and a little snow? Now we had several inches of snow, and there is no end in sight. Yippie. Sorry, but I love the snow. If we have to have a winter, we might as well have snow. Right? A true German is talking. Anyway, finally Timothy is doing better and we can enjoy the weather. I am sorry, though, that we put our wooden sled in storage where we can't get it. Poohoo. Anyway, have a wonderful snow-day everyone.
